How to Upgrade Attributes?

To upgrade your attributes in NBA 2K1 you need plenty of VC. In My Player, you can earn VC by playing career games as well as through a myriad of online and offline activities in the game. Simply use the d-pad to increase whichever attribute you want to increase and you will see the VC cost on the right side of the screen. When you find yourself in possession of enough VC in NBA 2K21, you can start upgrading your attributes. 

Go to the progression tab and access the MyCareer menu. From there go to the snapshot menu where you can use VC to upgrade a plethora of attributes in NBA 2K21.

You can only upgrade each attribute to 85 overall. This is due to the cap set by the character's potentials.

After every game, a large blue meter is filled. The amount it fills up depends on how well you play. You're graded after every game, from F to A+.

Getting an A+ Teammate Grade by scoring efficiently, getting assists, grabbing rebounds, and playing good defense will give you the most points towards filling the bar. Once it's full, you'll get to upgrade your attributes once again in the Progression tab.
