NBA fans are perking up with the upcoming all-star weekend in Chicago. As always, we combine the real game with NBA 2k20. We've previously introduced the best teams available in the NBA 2k20 MyTeam in the southeast division and southwest division, followed by the central division, which includes the Milwaukee Bucks, Chicago Bulls, Detroit Pistons, Indiana Pacers, and Cleveland Cavaliers. We will select five starting players from these five teams to form a top team.
PG – Malcolm Brogdon (OVR 91)

Whilst there are better point guards in the Central Division from years gone by, the best current NBA PG playing in Central USA is the Pacers Malcolm Brogdon.
Malcolm Brogdon has been a driving force for the Indiana Pacers while they wait for Victor Oladipo to return from injury. So far this season, Brogdon is averaging 20.7 points, 8.5 assists, and 5.2 rebounds per game on 46.9 percent from the field, 32.7 percent from three, and a ridiculous 98.0 percent from the line. The 27-year-old has enjoyed a fine campaign for the Indiana franchise to date and saw his base card jump 10 ratings to a 91 with this moment of the Week card.
He is owned in 100% of fantasy leagues so everyone expects him to be an elite guard. He is not projected for elite value. Malcolm Brogdon is expected to improve on this season-to-date's #34 fantasy position rank. With 90 ratings in both outside scoring and playmaking as well as a respectable 83 defending, you'll get some bang for your buck with this card.
SG – Zach LaVine (OVR 91)

The star man for the Bulls is former Minnesota Timberwolves' man Zach LaVine. He's 46″ vertical is the highest in the league (equaling Michael Jordan's hops) and allows him to glide through the air with the maximum amount of hang time.
LaVine has once again lead from the front for the Bulls – including dropping 43 points in the loss to the Pacers – and as a result, is comfortably the highest-rated current Bull in 2K20.
The 24-year-old is a BEAST in the paint, the flashy dunk extraordinaire will throw down some highlight real worthy dunks for this side (96 driving dunk) whilst he also has the ability to knock them down from deep (89 shot 3pt).
His 84 rated speed is above the position average in the NBA too, so he's a good man to have carrying the ball on those fast breaks, 98 stamina means he'll be able to play plenty of minutes on the court, which is key in this below-par squad. 15k mt 2k20, very cheap!
SF – Giannis Antetokounmpo (OVR 95)

Speaking of "monsters," if you look up the very definition you'll find Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Giannis Antetokounmpo won the league's top individual award by a landslide last year and is right on track to do so again this campaign.
Giannis went off against the Trailblazers. He already has a 94 OVR card, but this performance should be enough to warrant a 95 OVR MOTW card. Giannis notched a triple-double with 24 points, 19 rebounds, and 15 assists. The assists were a career-high and he became the first Bucks player to have 20+ points, 15+ rebounds, and 15+ assists. In a career filled with great moments, this was a new level.
The 25-year-old has a seriously impressive card here, fully living up to his 'Greek Freak' nickname. The stat which catches our eye is his 94 defensive rebounding, which, for a small forward is pretty insane. Giannis Antetokounmpo has improved his game season after season, becoming one of the biggest stars in the league with all the good things he's displayed with his Milwaukee Bucks.

PF – Tristan Thompson (OVR 88)

Surprisingly, there hasn't been a standout power forward in the Central Division so far this year, so Cleveland center Tristan Thompson moves to his secondary position.
Thompson has been with the Cavaliers since the Cleveland franchise chose him as the 4th overall pick in the 2011 draft. The Canadian center was part of the 2016 championship-winning team.
Thompson saw his base card jump 10 ratings to an 88 as part of the first Moments of the Week team of 2K20. He has performed well under difficult circumstances for a struggling Cavaliers this year, including putting up a career-high 35 points in their recent victory over the Pistons.
Rebounding is the standout stat on Thompsons card, coming in at a 92 overall made up of 97 offensive and 90 defensive reboundings. In terms of scoring, look to his standing dunk (95) to have the most success. His decent athleticism (OVR 77) means moving to the power forward role shouldn't be an issue.
C – Domantas Sabonis (OVR 88)

The final name to make the All-Star Atlantic division team is Indiana Pacers center, Domantas Sabonis.
The 23-year-old is the youngest player in this side but has put up the best figures of his career to date so far this year. Sabonis is averaging a double-double with 18 points and 13.1 rebounds per game so far this campaign.
No matter the opponent, Sabonis has been dominant and a key piece to the Pacers picking up wins over some of the NBA's best teams. When the spotlight has been bright, Sabonis has risen to the occasion. That was evident in his production in wins over the Boston Celtics, Toronto Raptors, and Los Angeles Lakers. In those three contests, Sabonis averaged 17.6 points, 13.6 rebounds, and five assists. Those performances put Sabonis in the national spotlight and allowed NBA fans around the world to witness his all-star potential first-hand.
The aspect of Sabonis' game that has been most impressive this season is rebounding. His ability to grab boards alone could place him into all-star consideration. Sabonis is currently fourth in the league in rebounds per game with an average of 13.5. Last season, Sabonis averaged 9.3 rebounds. Despite centers being known traditionally for their inside scoring (85 OVR inside scoring), Sabonis has the range to get it done from the outside too (85 OVR outside scoring).
