Another Galaxy Opal card has arrived in NBA 2K20 MyTeam thanks to the new Buzzer Beater packs. These packs officially launched on Tuesday, February 25 and feature a Stephen Curry Galaxy Opal as the top pull. Over the years, Steph Curry has shown himself to be amongst the NBA's elite and one of the game's best shooters, particularly from long range.
NBA 2K20 Buzzer Beater Packs: Available players include Stephen Curry
To have a chance to grab the GO Curry you have to buy a pack or box of the newly released Buzzer Beater set. Single packs cost 7,500 Virtual Currency (VC) or 10,500 MyTeam Points (MT).
A 10-pack box goes for 67,500 VC, while a 20-pack box is 135,000 VC. There's also Auctions availability for the new cards already.
It joins the recent Kevin Durant Galaxy Opal card amongst the new prizes many gamers are trying to acquire in the game. That means high auction prices are already in effect.
The following Pink Diamond players cards are also in this set:
Stephen Curry (Galaxy Opal)
Chris Webber (Pink Diamond) 98
Drazen Petrovic (Pink Diamond) 97 OVR
Paul Pierce (Diamond) 95 OVR
Aside from depending on pack luck, it'll cost a pretty NBA 2K20 MT penny to grab the GO Curry on the Auction market. The card was going for more than 700,000 MT. Take a look at your lineups to determine if there are valuable cards you can spare. Perhaps you can sell and grind your way to acquiring this latest MyTeam gem.
Is It Worth the Grind or Investment?
A Galaxy Opal Steph Curry is the best possible card, and likely to be a tough pull for these packs.
The Curry card doesn't have any real weaknesses, and as you might expect, it's greatest strength is the lights-out shooting.
By now, most fans know what they're getting with Steph and this card amplifies it all. His new card brings 99 Three-Point Shot, 98 Mid-Range Shot, and 98 Driving Layup. Curry also has 99 for Ball Handling, 98 Pass IQ, and 98 Steal ratings as well as 99 for all of his System Proficiencies. While the card may not be the tops among all available point guards in the mode in all of those categories, the marks are above average-to-stellar in every area that dictates point guard success.
There's also 17 Gold Badges and a whopping 39 Hall of Badges. Those HOF Badges include Volume Shooter, Catch & Shoot, Floor General, Tear Dropper, Ice in Veins, Dimer, Clamps, Clutch Shooter, and more.
If you buy packs, it's definitely worth it to try to snag the Curry, and if you have some expendable Pink Diamonds, a bit of a firesale isn't the worst idea.
Although Curry card is a little expensive, but that's expected for a card rated this high as it can boost MyTeam lineups in terms of outside shooting. Luckily, you can get a Curry card by clicking here and buying a lot of NBA 2k20 mt.
